The African Public Sector Performance Improvement Network(APSPIN) offers timely information resources, networking opportunities, advice, practical support and know-how to public sector practitioners on all aspects of the strategic performance agenda.

The APSPIN is a non-political, independent, cross-agency, cross-parastatals, cross-ministries networking and partnership development environment committed to fostering and encouraging performance and public sector business improvement activities.

APSPIN is for the public sector organisations and its partner organisations, primarily within the countries in Africa. It is for anyone, and everyone, involved in delivering and improving services for the benefit of the citizens of their country.

APSPIN Principles

to connect up the wealth of knowledge generated by the people who do the job, making it available to all

to develop leadership at all levels; and to build partnerships across whole public sector for the sole purpose of helping to deliver their service

to promote public sector reform agenda in countries in Africa

Why Join?

With your membership, you and your organisations can access our full range of events and supporting material. In most cases, priority will be given to members in our events and capacity development programme. Membership of the Network will appeal to leaders in public sectors, officers from Policy, Performance, service delivery, monitoring and evaluation and Procurement, but will also support service delivery managers across the public sectors. It will also appeal to local government leaders and staff in council with a remit for performance improvement
