APSPIN Strategic Board
Role of the Board: The role of the Strategy Board is to provide strong leadership to the development of the national and international APSPIN Public Sector Improvement Programme through series of initiatives that will form the outputs of the APSPIN conference series
The Board's key activities are:
1. to set:
the strategic direction for the APSPIN initiatives and programme
its strategic priorities, high level objectives and targets
2. to ensure:
the APSPIN has an effective public sector change programme and performance improvement partnerships from national and international organisations
public sector uptake of the performance improvement and best practice to be offered through APSPIN programme
3. To consider:
the uptake of comprehensive set of inputs from performance improvement stakeholder groups for enhancing APSPIN strategic directions
knowledge gaps and commission further work to strengthen APSPIN strategic contribution to the work programme of APSPIN stakeholders
4. In the light of the priorities, objectives and targets, and performance against them, to review: :
the APSPIN strategic plans in line with Public Service reform agenda
the overall allocation of resources
the working with other stakeholders in the handling of cross cutting issues that add values to the performance improvement in the public service
